Road Safety Checklist
Periodically check your oil, coolant, transmission and water levels.
Check for uneven wear of your tires. Maintain proper PSI in your tires.
You should have a spare tire and tools to change the tire if necessary.
Periodically check to make sure that your blinkers and trunk lights are working.
Periodically check to make sure that your horn works.
Keep an Emergency Auto Safety Kit in your trunk.
If your car becomes disabled try to pull completely off the road, raise your hood and place either a reflective triangle or flare to warn oncoming cars.
